You will find us at 38/2079 in the Naiwala area of Karol Bagh. This neighborhood is famous for its mechanics, and we have been part of it for a long time. Our workshop is usually covered in oil and grease, which is exactly how a real motor shop should look. We spend our days taking apart engines and putting them back together again. Most of our work is on two-wheelers, but we see all sorts of vehicles. There are old spare parts and half-finished projects sitting in the corners of the shop. It is a loud place because of the constant sound of engines revving and tools clanking against metal. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. Customers usually just stand around and watch us work or go have a snack at the nearby stalls. We do the work with our hands and our experience rather than relying on expensive gadgets. If your bike has a weird noise, we can usually tell what it is just by listening. My brother and I have been working here since we were young. It is a tough job and we go home every night with black fingernails, but it is what we know. We like the hustle of Karol Bagh and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in Delhi.
