Jeevan Mala Hospital

This hospital, Jeevan Mala Hospital, is located on New Rohtak Road, right across from Tibbia College. If you know Delhi, you know how packed this road gets. We are also pretty much opposite Liberty Cinema, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The traffic outside is almost never-ending, so we get a lot of noise from the cars and rickshaws throughout the day. Inside, things are a bit more controlled, but it’s still a busy place. We’ve been operating here for a long time. The building has its quirks, like how the elevators can be a bit slow when everyone is trying to use them at once during visiting hours. The staff here mostly takes their tea breaks in a small room in the back. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors because of our central location. It’s not a fancy corporate setup; it’s just a place where doctors and nurses do their jobs. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit hot in the summer months despite the fans, but people just deal with it. We keep our records on the ground floor, and there's always someone at the desk. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen the whole area around Liberty Cinema change quite a bit. It’s a practical place, and we just focus on getting through the daily list of patients who come in from the street.
