Being located at 8757, Roshanara Road puts us right in the middle of the action. This area, around Rahat Ganj and Aram Ganj, is part of the old Sabzi Mandi. It’s a place that never really sleeps. Indian Spice Company is situated in an old building that has seen a lot of history. The walls are thick, and the rooms are filled with the heavy scent of spices that have been traded here for decades. Outside, the street is always congested with trucks and handcarts. It’s a bit of a struggle to get anything in or out during the peak market hours, so we have to plan our day around the traffic. We deal with bulk quantities, so there are always stacks of jute bags piled high toward the ceiling. The light inside is a bit dim, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a noisy, dusty, and sometimes chaotic place to work, but it feels right for a spice business. We don't have a reception desk or a fancy office. Most of our business is done over the counter or shouting over the noise of the street. We’ve been here long enough that the surroundings feel like home. Every day is a bit of a challenge with the crowds and the heat, but we just keep going. It’s a traditional way of doing things in a very traditional part of the city.
