Hindu Rao Hospital

The ACA Office at Hindu Rao Hospital is tucked away in the Baraf Khana area, and it gets pretty hectic around here. If you’ve ever been to Baraf Khana, you know it’s got that old Delhi feel with lots of noise and activity. Our office is where a lot of the paperwork happens, so there are always files stacked up on the desks. It isn't exactly the quietest place to work, but we are used to it. The windows look out onto the hospital grounds, and you can see people coming and going all day long. Sometimes the monkeys from the ridge area come near the windows, which is just part of the daily routine here. We spend a lot of time answering questions and pointing people in the right direction. It’s an old building, so the ceilings are high and the walls are thick, but it still gets warm in the summer months. We just try to keep things moving so the administration side of the hospital doesn't get backed up. It’s a lot of typing and checking lists, really. Most of us have been here for years, so we know all the shortcuts through the hallways. It’s not a flashy office by any means. It’s just a place where we sit and do the heavy lifting for the hospital’s back-end work. You just follow the signs for Baraf Khana and you’ll find us eventually.
