Gupta Auto

You can find Gupta Auto at B-2/38 along the Kalindi Kunj Road in the Delhi Cantonment area. Being on such a busy road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It’s a noisy spot, but it’s great for business because someone always needs a part or a quick fix for their car. We’ve been at this address for a good stretch of time. The shop is filled with all sorts of auto components, from spark plugs to fan belts and filters. It can be hard to find things sometimes if you don't know where to look, but I know exactly where every little screw and bolt is kept. I usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out the sound of the trucks outside. Working in the Cantonment area is a bit different than the rest of the city, feels a bit more orderly in some ways. We don't do anything flashy. We just sell parts and help people out when their vehicle breaks down nearby. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always wiping down the counters and the glass. It’s a lot of manual work, checking part numbers and talking to mechanics who stop by. We aren't a big showroom with lights and mirrors. We are just a practical shop on a busy road, doing what we know how to do best every day.
