G B Pant Hospital

This section of the hospital is up on the 7th floor of the new building, which is called the Master Amir Chand Block. It’s located near Delhi Gate, a very famous part of the city that stays crowded from sunrise to sunset. Being in the newer building means things are a bit different than the older wings, but it’s still just as busy. The 7th floor is quite high up, and from some windows, you can see the rooftops of the surrounding area. We have a lot of people coming in and out for various treatments and consultations. The elevators are almost always full, and there’s a constant stream of families waiting in the halls. It’s a functional space designed to handle a large volume of people every day. We don’t have any fancy decorations or lounge areas. It’s all about the beds, the medical equipment, and the staff trying to keep up with the demand. The air feels a bit more modern here, but the pressure of working in a major Delhi hospital remains the same. Most of us who work on this floor are used to the fast pace and the endless list of things to do. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily flow of patients as best as we can in this big block.
