Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital New Delhi

Working at the Eye department over here at Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital New Delhi in WEA Karol Bagh is always an interesting experience. Most of us spend our time looking through lenses or checking schedules. The WEA area has its own rhythm, and you can hear the street noise if the windows are open even a little bit. We have a lot of patients who come in because they can't see the signs clearly anymore or they just need a checkup. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We have the usual chairs and some machines that make whirring sounds. Sometimes the lights feel a bit bright, but that’s just part of the job when you’re dealing with eyes. We aren't trying to be anything flashy. It’s just us in the department trying to keep things organized. Karol Bagh is a busy spot, so we see people from all over the city, but mostly it's the locals who live just a few blocks away. We usually eat our lunch quickly in the back room before the next group of people arrives. It can get a bit tiring standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. The eye department isn't huge, but it has everything we need to do our work. People come in, get their eyes checked, and head back out into the Delhi heat. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us here.
