It is usually pretty loud here in New Delhi, especially when the traffic picks up right outside our doors. Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited has been operating from this spot for a good while now, and the office looks like it. We have files stacked up on almost every flat surface, and the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise during the peak of summer, but it keeps us cool enough to get through the day's tasks. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't really need a lot of formal meetings to know what needs doing next. We just handle the medicine orders as they come in and try to make sure everything is boxed up correctly for the distributors. It is not a fancy glass building or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we spend our mornings and afternoons making sure the supplies are moving where they need to go. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lane, and we have to go out and help guide them in. It's just part of the routine here in the city. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look polished for visitors because we are usually too busy checking batches or answering the phone. It is a straightforward kind of life, focused on the inventory and making sure the labels are right before the sun goes down and we head home through the Delhi rush.
