Dr. Vivek Bindal works out of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, which is located in Rajinder Nagar. Because we are situated inside a large hospital, the experience is a bit different than going to a small street-side clinic. You have to go through the main hospital gates and find your way through the corridors to get to us. We focus on bariatric surgery here. The hospital is a major landmark in the Rajinder Nagar area, so it is hard to miss the building itself. Once you are inside, it can be a little confusing because of all the different wings and departments, but there are signs to help you out. Dr. Bindal is usually busy either in consultations or in the operating room. It is a very fast-paced environment since the hospital deals with so many different medical cases every day. We do not have our own separate entrance from the street, so you just use the main hospital facilities. The staff here is used to the hustle and bustle. It is a very professional setting, but we try to be as helpful as we can when people look a bit lost in the hallways. Bariatric work involves a lot of meetings and following up on how people are doing after their procedures. We see patients from all over the city. We do not have any fancy slogans or mission statements. We are just here doing the work and seeing the people on the schedule every day. It's a busy life in the hospital.
