Crown Sales Industries

Our business, Crown Sales Industries, is situated at 1679 Dakhni Rai Street in Darya Ganj. If you have ever been to Darya Ganj, you know it is one of those places in Delhi that is packed with history and narrow alleys. Dakhni Rai Street is no different. It is a very busy area, especially on Sundays when the book market is happening nearby. Our office is in an older building. The walls are thick and the stairs are a bit steep. It is not the most modern place, but it has been our home for a while. We have a few rooms filled with stock and a couple of desks where we handle the billing and phone calls. There is always a lot of noise coming in from the street—vendors calling out, rickshaws honking, and people chatting. You get used to it after a few days. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception area. If someone visits, they usually just find us sitting amongst the boxes. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. We drink a lot of chai and spend most of the day coordinating things. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stuff packed in, but it works for us. Darya Ganj has a way of feeling very alive, and being right in the middle of it on Dakhni Rai Street keeps us busy. It’s just a plain, hardworking shop.
