City Hospital

City Hospital is located at B-1/1 N E A Pusa Road. We’ve been operating out of this N E A location for quite some time now, and the routine hasn't changed much. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and making sure the lobby is tidy. Pusa Road is always full of activity, and that energy usually carries over into our hallways. We have a lot of filing to do every day, and the computer system can be a bit slow when everyone is trying to use it at once. The doctors are usually rushing between rooms, and we do our best to keep their schedules from overlapping too much. The chairs in the waiting room are a bit mismatched because we’ve had to replace them one by one over the years. We have a small balcony where we go to get a breath of air when things get too hectic inside. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, and sometimes we lose track of time until the evening shift arrives to take over. Most of us have worked here for years, so we know all the quirks of the building, like which doors stick and where the light switches are hidden. We don’t bother with anything fancy; we just make sure the place stays open and ready for whoever needs to come in. It’s just our daily life here.
