Our office is on the 6th floor of the Indra Prakash building. If you know Barakhamba Road, you know it is right in the middle of everything in New Delhi. Carrylon Accounting Services Private Limited has been operating from this suite for a while now. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed with cars and people heading to the metro station. We spend most of our hours dealing with numbers and tax forms. It is a lot of paperwork, honestly. The office is often full of folders and ledgers piled up on the desks. We have a small team here and we just try to keep up with the deadlines. The elevators in this building can be slow during lunch time so we usually just bring our own food or wait until after the rush. It is a professional atmosphere but we aren't formal people. We wear comfortable clothes unless we have to meet someone important. It gets quite loud outside with the horns honking, but inside we just focus on the books. Barakhamba is a good spot because it is central for everyone. We have been here through many seasons, watching the city change from our window. It is just a standard accounting setup, nothing too fancy to look at, just a lot of work happening every day.
