Blk Memorial Hospital

This is the memorial hospital located on Pusa Road. It’s a big, greyish building that most people who live in this part of town recognize pretty easily. Because we are situated on such a major road, it is easy for people to reach us from all over, but it also means there is almost no peace and quiet outside. The main lobby is almost always crowded with people checking in or waiting for news about their relatives. We have some wooden benches and some plastic chairs that have definitely seen better days. The nurses and doctors are always on their feet, rushing from one room to another to see the next person. It’s a very high-energy place to be. We have a pharmacy inside which is usually very busy with a line out the door. Sometimes the wait times are longer than we would like them to be, but that’s just how it goes in a place this big. We have many different wings for various types of treatment and care. The windows look out over the constant traffic moving along Pusa Road. We’ve had to patch up the walls and fix the plumbing and lights a few times over the years. It’s an old-school kind of hospital where the focus is strictly on the medical side of things. We don't have a PR team or anything. We just come in, do our shifts, and go home to rest.
