Our office is located at 5 E, Rani Jhansi Road, right in the Jhandewalan Extension. It is a busy spot. We spend most of our mornings staring at the computer screens watching the numbers change for shares and commodities. The phones start ringing pretty early and they don't really stop until the market closes for the day. It can get a bit tense when things are moving fast, but that is just part of the job. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, a few chairs for visitors, and stacks of papers that we try to keep organized. Most of us have been working together here for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and you can see the traffic piling up on Rani Jhansi Road during rush hour. We usually grab a quick lunch at our desks while keeping an eye on the tickers. Dealing with brokers and clients means there's always someone to talk to or some bit of news to discuss. We don't use any fancy systems, just the tools we need to get the trading done. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have a bit of a panic, but usually, things run smooth enough. It’s a fast environment but we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
