Jyoti Duplex Centre

Being at Barahindu Rao means we are right in the middle of a very crowded part of the city. Jyoti Duplex Centre has been operating from house number 3639-40 for a long time. It’s one of those old buildings where every inch of space is used for storing paper and boards. We mostly handle duplex board, which is used for all sorts of packaging. If you walk into our place, you’ll see stacks of it reaching almost to the ceiling. It can get a bit dusty, honestly. Moving those heavy bundles through these narrow lanes is a real task, especially when the traffic gets bad in the afternoon. Our workers are used to it, though. They carry the loads back and forth all day long without complaining too much. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of registers to keep track of what’s coming in and going out. People come to us when they need specific weights or sizes for their boxes. We try to keep enough stock so we don't have to turn anyone away. Sometimes we run out of a particular grade, and then we have to wait for the next truck to arrive. It’s a simple trade. No big corporate talks here, just talk about GSM and sheet sizes. We’ve been here so long the neighbors are like family. It is just a regular shop doing business every day.
