Our place is located at 68/5356 in Reghur Pura, which is part of the Karol Bagh area. It is a bit tucked away in the lanes so you have to know where you are going. Arsh Dairy Max Ltd is all about milk and curd and things like that. Every morning starts very early for us, usually while most people are still sleeping. We hear the trucks coming in with the fresh supply and then the noise of plastic crates sliding across the floor begins. It’s a damp kind of job because we deal with cold storage and ice. The shop floor is always being washed down to keep it clean. We don't have fancy office chairs, just some sturdy stools and a lot of refrigerators. People from the neighborhood come by with their own bags to pick up what they need for breakfast. We know most of the families around Reghur Pura because they see us every single day. It’s a very steady routine. Sometimes we run out of something early and have to tell people to wait for the next delivery. It is not a corporate setup with meetings; we just focus on getting the dairy out to the customers. The air is always a bit cool inside because of the cooling units. We have been in this spot for a while now and we just keep doing what we know. It is basic, hard work that keeps the local kitchens running. We hope to keep the milk fresh and the deliveries on time.
