National Food Products

Down at 4817/24, Ansari Road, the air is usually full of the sounds of Darya Ganj. National Food Products is based in this busy slice of Old Delhi, where the lanes are narrow and the buildings are packed tight together. We are surrounded by book publishers and paper traders, which makes us a bit different from our neighbors. Our space isn't very large, so we have to be very smart about how we stack our supplies. It is a constant game of moving bags and boxes to get to what we need. We don't have a polished front office or a team of salespeople. It is just us and a few helpers making sure the production stays on schedule. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the fans overhead hum loudly throughout the day. We focus on the basic tasks of mixing, preparing, and packing. There is a lot of noise from the street outside, with rickshaws and motorbikes constantly passing by, but we are used to it. We don't spend time on fancy descriptions or trying to sound like something we aren't. We are just a food business doing our thing in a crowded part of the city. Most of our day is spent making sure the batches are right and the weight is correct. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but it’s what we do.
