Emed Pharmacy

Being over here in Abul Fazal Enclave Part-2 is quite a different experience than the main market areas. Emed Pharmacy is tucked away at F-39/24, right in the heart of Jamia Nagar. It is a neighborhood where everyone seems to know each other, so the day is filled with a lot of nodding and short chats while we work. The shop is not huge, but we make the most of the space we have. There are stacks of medicine boxes arriving throughout the week, and we spend a good chunk of our time just checking labels and putting things in the right drawers. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and people walking home with groceries. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going by the light from the door. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, it is just us making sure the pharmacy stays stocked up. It is honest work, even if the floor gets a bit dusty by the afternoon from all the foot traffic. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. There is always something to do, whether it is counting out stock or cleaning the glass counters. It feels like we are part of the daily life around Jamia Nagar, which is how we like it. We have our tea together in the afternoon and then finish up the remaining orders.
