We are located in Karol Bagh, which is always a crowded and loud part of the city. Being a college and a hospital combined means there are always a lot of students running around with books or in their white coats. It’s an old place with a lot of history tied to it. You can see it in the way the buildings look and the way the hallways are laid out. It’s not like those new glass buildings you see elsewhere. Here, things feel more lived-in. There’s usually a queue of people waiting to see someone or get their medicine. We use traditional methods here, so there is often a distinct smell of herbs in certain parts of the building. The classrooms are just down the way from the wards. It gets a bit chaotic during the middle of the day when everyone is out for lunch. We have benches outside where people sit and wait under the trees. The desks in the office are old wood and covered in files. It’s a busy life here in Karol Bagh. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. Students are constantly asking questions and patients are looking for help. It’s just a regular daily routine for us. No one is wearing fancy suits, just regular clothes or uniforms. It's a hardworking environment without any extra fluff to it. We keep our focus on the daily tasks and the people coming through our doors every morning.
