Pansemal Vikas Samradh Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited

We are the Pansemal Vikas Samradh Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited. Our group is based out in Kansul and we work closely with the people from the state rural livelihood mission who guide us on some things. Most of us are women who have spent our whole lives working on the farms around this area. We finally got together to start this company so we could manage our farming better and get better prices. It’s a lot of work to keep the records straight while also taking care of the goats and the crops and the cooking. We aren't used to sitting behind a desk, so our meetings are usually pretty informal and held whenever we have a break from the sun. We just want to get a better price for what we grow with our own hands. The mission helps us understand some of the technical parts like banking, but the hard work is all ours. You can find us at the address in Kansul if you need to talk about seeds or selling produce. We aren't trying to do anything fancy or corporate, just trying to make sure the women in this area can support their homes and children. It gets very busy during harvest time and sometimes the office stuff gets a bit behind, but we eventually catch up. We know the soil in this part of Pansemal better than anyone. It’s a tough life but doing it together makes the burden a bit lighter for everyone.
