Lotus Pvt. Ltd. is located in Vidyapati, over in B-Zone. We are part of the Burdwan district. It’s a decent sized area and we have a good amount of space for our operations here. We handle a lot of different things, but bricks are a big part of what we do every day. The yard in B-Zone is always filled with activity. We have trucks coming in from the surrounding countryside and others heading out to delivery sites. It’s a lot of coordination, but we have a small team that has worked together for a long time. Burdwan has been our home for years, and we know the rhythms of the place. When the monsoon comes, we have to be careful with the stock. You can't just leave things out without a plan. We spend a lot of time checking on the stacks and making sure everything is where it should be. It is not the kind of job where you sit in a chair all day. We are outside, walking the grounds, and talking to the drivers. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck breaking down or a late shipment, but we just handle it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest around, just trying to keep the work moving and the orders filled. It is a plain way of living, but it works for us and our families here.
