Computer Operator

I've been working as a computer operator here in Vill Sarul for a while now. Most people around here in Galsi know where the office is, just near the post office and police station area in Burdwan. It’s a quiet place, pin code 713406. I spend most of my day sitting at the desk, typing things up or looking through files on the screen. There’s usually a lot of paperwork that needs to be put into the system so it doesn't get lost. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just how it is in West Bengal sometimes, but we get the work done eventually. I handle whatever comes in, whether it’s printing or just basic data stuff. It’s not a big fancy setup or anything like that. Just a room with a computer and a chair where I try to keep things organized for the village. People come by when they need help with forms or digital stuff they can’t do themselves. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so it feels good to have a spot where I can work close to home. It’s a simple life. I keep the computer running, make sure the files are saved correctly, and wait for the next job to come through the door. It gets dusty sometimes, so I have to wipe the keyboard down every morning before I start. I also make sure the printer has enough paper and ink so we don't run out when someone needs something fast. That's pretty much what goes on here daily.
