Semi(Sys-Edge Microinformatics Pvt.Ltd.)

We started Semi, or Sys-Edge Microinformatics Pvt.Ltd. as the official paperwork says, right here in the HSCL Administrative Building in Bokaro Steel City. We are tucked away in the Accounts and Finance department area, which means we see a lot of the day-to-day business of the building. Mr. S.N. Sinha has his name on the address here, and we’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the HSCL layout, but once you get here, you’ll see we are just a regular group of people working on microinformatics and computer stuff. The office is usually filled with the sound of fans and the clicking of keyboards. We have stacks of old manuals and various hardware parts lying around because that is just the nature of what we do. Jharkhand, and specifically B.S. City, is a great place to be because of all the industrial activity, but it can get quite dusty and hot in the summer months. We don't have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We mostly just have a jar of instant coffee and some old mugs. Our desks are a bit cluttered with wires and notes from yesterday’s jobs. It is a practical workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We just like fixing things and keeping the systems running for the folks who need us in this part of town.
