L&T Construction

Down at Plot No.C 36, near Bokaro City, things are always moving. This is where L&T Construction is currently set up, and it is a dusty, busy environment. We spend our days surrounded by concrete, rebar, and the sound of heavy engines. Bokaro is an industrial place, so the heat and the grit are just part of the job. We have a small portable cabin for our paperwork, but most of the time we are out on the plot. It is not like a regular office job where you sit in a chair all day. Here, you are on your feet, checking measurements and talking to the crew. We drink a lot of chai to keep going, usually from the small stall that set up just outside the gates. The project is big and it takes a lot of coordination, but we don't use fancy words to describe it. We just look at the plans and get the work done. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or a machine breaks down. But we just fix it and keep moving. The ground is uneven and there is always a layer of dust on everything we own, including our phones. We don't mind it much. By the time we head back towards the city at night, we are tired but it feels good to see the progress we made since the morning. It is hard work but someone has to do it.
