Gift House

Gift House is our little shop in Kathara, right in the Jaiswal Market on the Main Road. We are directly opposite the Post Office, which makes us very easy to find. The shop is packed with all kinds of items from floor to ceiling. To be honest, it is a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes. We have been here for years and have seen the town change quite a bit. We sell things for birthdays, weddings, and all those sorts of events. It is not a high-end boutique or anything. It is just a local store where you can find a decent gift. Sometimes the shelves are a bit dusty and the lighting isn't the brightest, but we try to keep things in order. On market days, the noise from the main road is constant, with all the horns and people shouting. We enjoy being in the middle of all that action though. We don't have any fancy computers for checkout; we still do most things the old-fashioned way. Most people who come in are our neighbors and friends from around Kathara. They stop by to chat about the weather or local news as much as they do to shop. We don't have a big corporate plan. We just open the shop, talk to people, and hope they find something they like. It is a simple life and it feels right being a part of this community.
