Our business is on Chira Chas Road in the Bokaro Steel City area. We are specifically in Chira Chas, right near the Ashiyana Garden. It’s a decent spot because people go to the garden for walks, and they often see our sign. We keep all kinds of supplies here, mostly things that homeowners or small contractors might need. The shop is just a single large room with high shelves. It gets quite humid here in Bokaro, so we always have the door open to catch whatever breeze there is. I’ve been working in this area for about ten years now. I moved here for the steel plant work but ended up opening this place instead. It’s been okay so far. My son comes in after his school to help me organize the invoices. We don't have any fancy displays or lights. It’s just rows of boxes and items. Sometimes the street gets flooded during the monsoon, and we have to move everything to the top shelves. It’s a bit of a hassle, but we manage. Most of our customers are people from the nearby apartment complexes. They stop by on their way home from work. We talk about the weather or the local news while I wrap up their purchases. It’s a regular life, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us going. We try to be honest about what we have in stock. The neighbors are nice too.
