Ramapeer Udyog

Ramapeer Udyog is located in the village of Nalhati, right near the Nalhati Railway Station in District Birbhum. Being so close to the station is actually quite helpful for us, though it can get a bit noisy with the trains passing by all the time. Our work is mainly centered around the stone industry, which is what this whole area is known for. We spend our days out at the site, managing the materials and making sure things are moving as they should. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some basic structures and our equipment. The ground is usually covered in stone dust and the weather can be quite tough, especially during the monsoon or the peak of summer. We are just a local team of people from the village and nearby areas. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a while and people know we are reliable. Most of our day is spent talking to truck drivers and checking the quality of the stone coming in. It’s physical work and it can be tiring, but it’s what we know. We take pride in just being a steady part of the local economy here in Nalhati. If someone needs stone or has a question about a shipment, they just walk into the yard and find us.
