Punarvaba Agro Producer Company Limited

We are based at 02, care of Based Mondal in Kutubdanga, Maheshpur. It is a small place and everyone pretty much knows where everyone else is. We started Punarvaba Agro because we wanted to bring the local farmers together. It’s hard to do everything alone when you have a small plot of land. Here, we try to pool our resources and help each other out with the harvest. Our building is very simple, just a regular place in the village where we can meet. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most of our members are just neighbors and friends from the surrounding area. We spend a lot of time talking about the soil and what crops might do well in the coming months. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours because everyone has a different opinion. It can be frustrating, but it’s how we make decisions. We’re not some big company from the city trying to tell people what to do. We are the people who live here and work the land every day. Some days are tough when the prices are low or the rain doesn't come, but we just stick together. It’s a practical way to live and work. We just want to keep our farms going and take care of our families. It takes a lot of effort but we wouldn't have it any other way.
