Cmpdi Coal India Limited

Our office is right here in the Cmpdi Colony over on Seepat Road in Bilaspur. Most people know the area because of the Posecl setup. Mr. Chattopadhyay is the one who handles the environment engineering side of things from the Qrd 11 spot. It is a quiet enough place to work, though there is always a lot of paperwork regarding the coal projects. We spend a lot of time looking at environmental impact data and making sure the maps are right. It's not exactly flashy work, but it keeps us busy through the week. Sometimes the power goes out, or the fans get noisy, but that's just part of being in this part of Chhattisgarh. We have been in this specific building for a while now. Most of the staff live nearby in the colony, so the commute is just a short walk past the main gate. On some days, we have meetings about the land reclamation or how the local water is being managed near the mines. It's mostly technical stuff that wouldn't mean much to someone outside the industry. We try to keep things organized even when the files pile up on the desks. There is always tea around if someone stops by, though we are usually caught up in one report or another. That is pretty much what goes on here every day from morning until the sun goes down over the colony trees.
