Holy Mission Secondary School (Administrative Office)

This is the administrative office for Holy Mission Secondary School, tucked away West of Khagaul Road in Danapur. Being in Patna, things can get pretty crowded and loud outside on the main road, but once you step into our office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and people talking. We handle all the paperwork here for the school. It’s a busy spot. People are always coming in to ask about admissions or to pay fees. The desks are usually covered in files and folders because there’s always something to organize. We’ve been at this Khagaul location for some time now. It’s a practical space, nothing too special to look at, just desks, chairs, and some cupboards for the records. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things go in 801105. We have a few staff members who stay here all day answering phones and talking to parents who walk in. It gets dusty because of the road construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the name of the school on the door so people know they found the right place. It’s where the behind-the-scenes stuff happens while the actual teaching goes on elsewhere. We just try to keep things moving so the school stays running. Usually, by five o'clock, we're locking up and heading home through the traffic.
