Software Engineering

B-2/86 in Sudharna Nagar is where we set up Software Engineering. Bikaner is a busy place, but this pocket is a bit quieter than the main markets. Our office isn't much more than a couple of rooms with some computers. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves instead of moving to a big city like Jaipur or Delhi. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have a few chairs for when people visit, though that doesn't happen too often. Mostly it’s just us doing the work. We handle software stuff, whatever people need help with. The internet can be a bit slow on some days, but we manage. In the summer, the heat is pretty intense, so we're thankful for the cooler. We don't have a big staff, just a few local guys who know their way around a keyboard. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no fancy dress code or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in t-shirts just trying to get through the day's tasks. We like being in Sudharna Nagar. It feels like a real neighborhood, not some sterile business park. We have a small tea stall just around the corner where we go for breaks. It’s a basic life, but we like the independence it gives us. We’re just a small part of the local scene here. It suits us just fine and we know our way around.
