Advance Computer

Advance Computer is tucked into Khajanchi Market at C-20. If you know the market, you know it can be a bit of a maze, but we’ve been in this unit for some time. We deal with all sorts of computer issues every day. Some people bring in old machines that haven't worked in years, and others just need a quick software update or a virus cleared out. We also sell some basic parts if you’re the type who likes to fix things yourself. The shop is small, so we have to stay organized, though there are always a few stacks of towers waiting for parts to arrive. We don't have any big corporate backing; it’s just a local shop run by people who know their way around a hard drive. We like being in Khajanchi Market because there’s always something going on and we get to see a lot of the other shop owners. We spend most of our time behind the counter with a screwdriver in hand or looking at lines of code. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of fine work with small screws that are easy to lose. We don't make big promises, we just look at what’s broken and try our best to get it running again. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they were already in the market for something else. It’s a steady way to spend the day, and we're glad to be part of the community here.
