Rajeev Gandhi Pvt. Iti College is located out in Barsingsar, quite close to the Nlcin plant near Bikaner. Because of where we are, the environment is a bit more industrial than a typical school. You can often see the dust from the surrounding areas, and the sun can be quite harsh out here in the open. The college is a place where young people come to learn practical skills with their hands. We have workshops that are filled with tools, machinery, and various bits of equipment that the students use for their training. It is not a place for sitting quietly in a library all day; there is usually the sound of metal clicking or engines running somewhere in the background. The staff here are practical people who know how to fix things and how to teach others to do the same. We have basic classrooms for the theory parts, but most of the real work happens in the practical labs. Bikaner is a tough environment sometimes, and the college building reflects that—it is solid, functional, and built to last. We do not spend money on fancy rugs or expensive art; we buy better tools and more materials for the students to practice on. Every morning, the students arrive from various parts of the district, and the day is spent getting greasy hands and learning how things actually work in the real world. It is a straightforward place for straightforward work.
