Arm School

You can find us out on NH 11 in Norangdesar, which is a bit of a drive from the main Bikaner city. The school sits right there where the desert landscape starts to feel very wide. It is a simple building, nothing too flashy, just enough to get the job done. The wind blows a lot of sand into the hallways, so we are constantly sweeping the floors. There isn't much around us except the road and some open land. The kids who come here are used to the quiet life of the village. We have a few classrooms and a small area where the staff sits during their breaks to have tea. We don't use a lot of big words or corporate talk because that isn't who we are. We are just local people running a school for the kids in Norangdesar. The desks are a bit old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. Every morning starts with the same routine of opening the gates and getting the classrooms ready. We don't have any big goals other than keeping the school running and making sure the kids show up. It is a very practical way of living. When the sun gets high in the sky, the place gets very quiet as everyone settles into their lessons. It’s just a normal part of life on the outskirts of Bikaner.
