Jain Traders

Our little shop, Jain Traders, is tucked away at 6-9-7 on Bs Road in Jorapurpet. It’s a fairly straightforward place where we handle all kinds of trading stuff for the locals. The street outside is usually full of people walking by or parking their scooters, so it stays pretty lively from morning until we shut the doors at night. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just shelves filled with stock and a counter where we talk to the people who come in. Sometimes the inventory piles up a bit and it gets hard to find a place to sit, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the faces that walk through the door. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just open the doors wider to let the light in and keep going. It’s not a complicated business. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to make sure we don't run out of what people need. The building is just a regular old structure on a busy road, and the paint might be peeling in a few spots, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time just chatting with customers about the weather or the local news while we pack up their items. It's a simple life running a trade business in this neighborhood.
