Shree Ram Enterprises

Our shop is right in the middle of the Main Market in Khurda, right across from Gadagada High School. Being at Plot No-797 means we get a lot of noise from the school kids during their lunch breaks and when they head home in the afternoon. It’s a lively part of town, especially on market days when the road gets so crowded you can barely walk. Shree Ram Enterprises is basically a big room filled with supplies and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We handle a bit of everything here, so there is always someone coming in asking for something specific. Most of the time we know exactly which pile it’s hidden under, but occasionally we have to move three or four heavy crates to find a small item. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We spend most of our time on our feet, moving stock or talking to the delivery drivers who pull up out front. The shop floor is concrete and has some cracks in it, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve just grown used to. We don’t have a fancy storefront or big glowing signs. We just have our name painted on the board and a door that stays open all day long. People come to us because they know we’re always here and we don't make things complicated for them.
