We have been set up here at Plot No-N/37 in the Chandka Industrial Estate for a while now. If you know Patia, you know it gets busy with all the trucks and people moving around. Most mornings start with the smell of coffee beans hitting the air before the sun even gets too high. It is a bit loud sometimes because of the other units nearby in the estate, but we have gotten used to it. The walls inside our place are painted a plain white, though they have some scuffs from moving crates around. We spend a lot of time checking the grinders and making sure the packaging is sealed right. It is not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. Some days the humidity in Khordha makes the work feel a bit slower, but the machines keep humming along. We usually have a few bags of beans sitting by the door ready for the morning pickup. There isn't much to see if you just walk past, just the sign and the metal shutters. We keep our tools on the back shelf and a small desk near the window where the light is actually decent. It is mostly about getting the orders filled and keeping the equipment clean. Sometimes we stand outside for a break just to see the traffic go by on the main road of the estate. It is just us working here, trying to keep up with everything that needs doing before we close up for the evening.
