Gnyan Mandir Higher Secondary School

Gnyan Mandir Higher Secondary School sits at 214 Kalinga Vihar. We are located in the Palasuni part of Bhubaneshwar, which is a fairly settled residential area with lots of families. The school building is part of the neighborhood, and it doesn't stand out too much from the houses around it. Inside, it’s just rows of desks and blackboards. We have been teaching students here for quite some time, so we have seen many groups grow up and leave. The hallways are a bit narrow, and it can get a little noisy when classes change, but that’s expected with so many teenagers around. We focus on the daily lessons and getting through the syllabus before the final exams come. There isn't a lot of fancy technology here, just the basics that work well enough. The staff is mostly local people who have been with us for years and know the routine. We deal with the usual school problems like broken chairs or leaky taps during the rainy season. It’s not a corporate office; it’s just a school for the local kids. People come by to ask questions about the 751010 area or where they can find certain papers. We try to be helpful. The routine is the same every day, starting with the morning bell and ending when the last student goes out the gate. It is a humble place, and we like it that way.
