Banaras Hindu University

This is a small branch office for Banaras Hindu University matters, located in Room A 18 at Kings Palace in Bhubaneswar. It’s not the main campus, obviously, but this is where we handle things for this region in Orissa. The address is 751024 if you need the pin code. It’s a bit of an unusual spot, being in Kings Palace, but it works for us. I spend most of my time here answering questions from students or helping out with paperwork. The room is a bit small, and we have files stacked up in the corners. It’s a functional space more than anything else. You might find me here drinking tea while I go through the morning mail. People come by mostly to drop off documents or ask about their applications. It’s nice being in Bhubaneswar; the people are friendly and the pace is just right. I try to help everyone who comes through the door as best as I can, even if the university systems are sometimes a bit slow to respond. We don’t have a big sign outside, so you have to look for Room A 18 once you get into the building. It’s just me and a colleague sometimes. We do the best we can with the resources we have here. It’s a quiet way to contribute to the education side of things for the students here.
