Dinabandhu Steel & Power also has a presence in Sector-5 of Bhubaneswar. This part of the city is quite different from the older neighborhoods, with more modern layouts and a lot of development happening all around us. Our office here serves as a hub for our operations in the region. It’s a functional space where we spend most of our time tracking shipments and talking to suppliers. The weather in Bhubaneswar can be really tough with the heat and humidity, so we’re thankful for the fans and the occasional breeze that comes through. We aren't a high-profile corporate entity with a lot of polish. We’re more of a practical group of people who understand the steel business and how to get things done in Odisha. A typical day involves a lot of checking lists, answering emails, and making sure the logistics for our power-related projects are on track. There’s always someone coming in or out with a clipboard or a delivery note. It can get a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we manage to keep it sorted. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just about making sure the steel gets to the right place at the right time. We’ve built up a lot of local knowledge over the years, and that’s what we rely on to get through the work week without too many headaches.
