Our place is called Dalma and you can find us at 157 Sachivalaya Marg in Madhusudan Nagar. Being in Bhubaneshwar, especially in this specific area, means we are right in the middle of a lot of government offices and busy streets. It is quite a central spot to be in. We have been here at Madhusudan Nagar for some time and the neighborhood has its own daily rhythm. Usually, the mornings start off quiet and then as the offices open up on Sachivalaya Marg, the street gets filled with cars and people walking to work. It’s a pretty decent area to be in. The building we are in is easy to spot. We spend most of our day just making sure things are ready for whoever walks in. It gets really humid here in Odisha, so we are always dealing with that, but the locals are used to it by now. We aren't doing anything flashy or high-end here. It’s just a straightforward place where we provide what’s on the menu. A lot of folks who work in the secretariat nearby stop in for their meals. We know a few of them by name now since they come by so often during the week. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or marketing ourselves. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the doors are open on time. If you are around the 751001 area, you’ve probably passed by our shop at least once. It isn't always perfect and some days are slower than others, but that's just how running a small place goes. It’s fine by us.
