The Bandhej

We are located on the Main Road in Sahid Nagar. If you know Bhubaneshwar, you know this part of town gets quite busy during the day. We are pretty close to the Alok Bharti Building, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. The Bandhej isn't a massive store, but we have enough space for what we do. We mostly focus on fabrics and traditional styles. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. We spend most of our time talking to customers and showing them the new stock that comes in. Some days it gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we try to keep the shop clean. We've been at 751007 for a while now. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If someone likes a piece of cloth, they buy it. If not, we just have a chat anyway. Sometimes the tea runs out and we have to send someone to the corner stall. It’s just how we work. We aren't looking to expand into a hundred cities. We just like being here in Sahid Nagar. The shop feels like home to us. We’ve got shelves full of stuff and we know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to others.
