Tropical Vacations

Our office is over at Plot No.- 4706/5809 in Gajapati Nagar, right near the Sainik School. It’s just a regular room with a few desks and a lot of papers piled up. We spend most of our time on the phone or staring at flight schedules on the computer screen. People come in looking to go somewhere for a break, and we try to figure out the best way to get them there without too much hassle. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always going. We aren't a big travel agency with fancy brochures everywhere. It’s mostly just us trying to make sure the bookings go through correctly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to work. We deal with train tickets, bus routes, and the occasional flight out of the city. It’s a lot of back and forth with the airlines and hotels. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We just keep things simple and try to answer the phone when it rings. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside on the street. We just sit here, drink some tea, and keep the files organized as much as we can. It’s steady work and we like seeing the same faces come back every year.
