Our travel office is located at D-28 in Maruti Villa Phase-II, which is in the Patia area. It is more of a quiet residential neighborhood than a busy commercial street. We handle tourism and travel arrangements for families and individuals who want to take a trip. The office is just a converted room with a few computers and some stacks of paper. We do not have any big neon signs or billboards. Most of our work is done over the phone or through messages with our clients. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and trying to find the best routes for people. It is just a few of us working here, and we have been doing this for several years now. We do not follow any corporate rules or have complicated procedures. If someone wants to go somewhere, we just see what is available and tell them the price. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes us longer to book things, which can be frustrating. We like being in Patia because it is away from the main city noise, even though it is growing fast. We do not have a large marketing budget. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or were told about us by their friends. It is a straightforward business and we just focus on getting the details right for every trip.
