Swastik Provision & General Store

Swastik Provision & General Store is located at Shop No. GM 10 in the Mansarovar Complex, right on Habibganj Road in Bhopal. We are in the Shivaji Nagar area, not too far from the RTO office. Being near the RTO means we see a lot of people who are just passing through for their paperwork, but we also have our regulars who live in the nearby flats. Our shop is filled with the kind of stuff you need for a house—soaps, detergents, flour, and lentils. It’s a typical provision store where things are stacked up high. The Mansarovar Complex has a lot going on, so it’s never really silent around here. We spend our mornings getting the new stock from the tempo and trying to find space for it in the back or on the shelves. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving boxes from one side to the other. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just plain shelves and a counter where we do the math. The Habibganj Road can get quite crowded, so parking is always a bit of a mess for people, but they still manage to drop in. We’ve been here long enough that people know we’ll probably have the small things they are looking for. We just keep our heads down, handle the billing, and make sure the shelves aren't empty for too long. It’s just a basic way to earn a living in a busy city like Bhopal.
