We are located out in Mandideep at plots 14 and 15 in the New Industrial Area, Phase-2. It’s a big space compared to some of the smaller shops in town. Being in Raisen means we are a bit of a drive for some but the industrial zone here is where most of the heavy work happens. The facility is mostly just space for the materials and the equipment we use for the composites at Surendra Composites Pvt Ltd. It’s a practical setup without any unnecessary decorations. We spend the bulk of our time on the floor making sure the layers and the resins are handled right. The air smells like chemicals and plastic sometimes but you stop noticing it after the first hour. Our gates stay open through the shifts and there is a lot of loading and unloading going on at the back near the road. We have a small area for the paperwork but mostly it is about what happens on the production line. Mandideep is a tough place to work in the summer because of the heat but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s been our home base for a while now and we have seen a lot of other businesses come and go in Phase-2. We just stay focused on our own daily tasks and make sure the materials are moving out to where they need to go. It is a lot of hard work but we are used to it.
