Shiva General Store

Shiva General Store is right at the 11 No. Sai Board in Arera Colony, Bhopal. We are very close to the Sai Mandir, so a lot of people stop by after their visit to the temple. It is a convenient little spot for the residents of Arera Colony to pick up their groceries and other small household bits. We carry all the basics like spices, pulses, and snacks. The shop is simple and doesn't have any of those bright, flashy displays you see in the big malls. We prefer it this way because it feels more like home. Often, we are busy stocking the shelves while talking to customers about the local news or the weather. Bhopal has a nice pace to it, and we enjoy being part of the daily routine here. We have everything from notebooks for students to batteries and light bulbs. Sometimes the delivery van is late and we have to apologize to people, but they usually understand since they’ve known us for years. We keep a small stool behind the counter for when our legs get tired, but most of the time we are on our feet. It is a humble business, just a family-run store trying to keep the community supplied with what they need. We don't ask for much, just a steady stream of familiar faces coming through the door every day to say hello.
