Sharada General Store

Sharada General Store is located right in the heart of Loha Bazar here in Bhopal. Being in an old market area means it’s always loud and full of people. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve been in this 462001 spot for quite a long time. We sell general items that families need daily. Think of things like spices, oils, grains, and some cleaning products. The shop itself is quite old, with high ceilings and shelves that reach all the way up. I have to use a ladder sometimes to get the things at the top. It’s not a fancy place at all. The floor is a bit uneven, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it works for us. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Loha Bazar, so there’s always someone to talk to or share a tea with. We don't do any marketing. Most of our customers come because they live nearby or their parents used to shop here. It's just a regular way of life for us. We open the doors early and keep going until late in the evening. Bhopal is a nice city, and being part of this old market feels right. We aren't looking to change anything. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, which is providing basic goods to the local community. It’s a simple business but it keeps us going and we're okay with that.
