You can find us at House No 375 in Vishwakarma Nagar. This is part of the Bangali Colony in Habibganj, Bhopal. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, so our shop feels like a part of the family for many people living here. I’m Shanu, and I’ve been running this kirana store for a good while now. We keep the usual things people need for their kitchens—spices, lentils, sugar, tea leaves, and all that. The Bangali Colony has a nice vibe, and we get a lot of regulars. Sometimes the kids come in after school for chocolates or chips, and that makes the place lively. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. This is just a small corner shop where you can get what you need quickly. Sometimes I forget to order something and have to run to the wholesaler myself, which is a bit of a headache. The shop is small, so we have to stack things high up to make everything fit. I try to keep it organized, but when many customers come at once, it gets a little chaotic. That’s just part of the business. We open early and close when the street lights have been on for a bit. It’s a steady life here in Bhopal. We don’t have any big plans, just keeping the shop running and making sure the local families have their daily supplies without having to travel too far.
