Sewak General Store

Sewak General Store has been at Plot No. 67 on Marvadi Road for quite a long time. We are right in the middle of Azad Market, near the Peer Gate Area. If you’ve ever walked through this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. The shop is packed with all sorts of things, from snacks to household items, stacked up on shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit hard to find things sometimes, but we usually know exactly where everything is hidden. In the mornings, we roll up the metal shutter and sweep the front before the first customers start arriving. It’s a narrow road, so it gets tight when the delivery carts come through. We talk to the neighbors every day, and we’ve seen the kids in the area grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own families. It’s a simple life, running a store in a busy market. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights, just the same wooden counters and glass jars we’ve always used. When the weather gets humid, we just turn on the old fan and keep going. People stop by to chat as much as they do to shop. It’s a community thing more than anything else, and we like being part of it here on Marvadi Road.
